Purpose

The purpose of a fish trap is to catch fish, and when the fish are caught, the trap is forgotten. The purpose of a rabbit snare is to catch rabbits. When the rabbits are caught, the snare is forgotten. The purpose of words is to convey ideas. When the ideas are grasped, the words are forgotten. Where can I find a man who has forgotten words? How to determine purpose?  Purpose can be found in creativity.  A thing is what it is apart from purpose.

My 10 Cents Worth!

We’re starting to feel the energy crunch as evidenced today in a conversation with a good friend. According to Mikie, local gas prices jumped 10 cents per gallon today. I’m wondering if a repeat of the mid-seventies crises or what some call the “Carter Years,” is looming large. How about some feed-back? Feel free to vent.
